Established 1982, in Ruthin, a family run business which has grown into the largest resident surfacing company in North Wales, employing approx 60 local people of whom 95% are Welsh speaking.
Currently turning over in excess of £9 million on a very wide variety of contracts including Highways Agency and Local Authority infrastructure maintenance (approx 50% of work load), commercial, industrial & private surfacing and groundworks. HH Ltd are presently the leading framework provider to Gwynedd County Council and deliver approx 50% of the surfacing requirements of Conwy CC, Denbighshire CC and Wrexham BC under Annual Tender service contracts.

We attribute our success to our unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, safety and amiable co-operation with all of our customers, delivered by a highly trained, skilled and motivated workforce, backed up by modern plant and quality assured materials suppliers.
We received the “Investors In People” award in 2005 and our training and development programme continues unabated with all employees qualifications now certificated to NVQ Level 2, 40% to sector 12D Traffic Management and 20% to full Street Works. All employees have passed the CITB Health & Safety test and receive regular safety training & briefings.
We are members of Construction Line, the CITB and have full accreditation to BS EN 9001 (Quality Assurance), BS EN 14001 (Environmental) and BS EN 18001 (Health & Safety).

In November 2003 we became part of the Tarmac Group, and have benefited from the huge back-up resources available to us, especially in terms of safety, training, IT, Finance & materials supply from the UK’s largest surfacing & quarrying company whilst retaining our Company identity and responsiveness.
